ABOUT THE POSITION
Linde Healthcare is seeking a medical technician who will be based at their service center in Kista. You will be part of a small group of technicians with different areas of responsibility. As a medical technician, you will perform service and maintenance of medical technology products, both at Linde's service center in Kista and at their customers' hospitals in the Stockholm area. Examples of medical technology products you will work with include central gas equipment and nitrous oxide mixers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Tasks
In your role, you will work on establishing timelines for service, maintenance, and disposal tasks to be performed. Furthermore, you will be responsible for service, incoming inspections, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, reconditioning, labeling, and documentation of actions taken. You will also participate in the purchasing process for new equipment and spare parts, assessing technical requirements and possibilities for the product's entire lifecycle and use.
Specific Job Tasks:
- Service and maintenance of medical technology products, both at their service center in Kista and at their customers' hospitals.
- Handle service, maintenance, and repair, functionality and safety checks, incoming inspections, labeling, disposal, and documentation of actions taken.
- Contribute to the establishment and continuous development of service and maintenance routines that are followed in daily work.
- Ensure that both internal and external needs for medical technology knowledge are met, developed, and followed in line with current laws and regulations governing the operations.
- Assist customers with technical support and advice regarding the products you work with.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Education/Experience: Have a secondary or post-secondary technical education and experience in service, maintenance, and repair, where experience with medical technology products is considered a strong merit.
- Knowledge: Have knowledge of medical technology directives, laws, and regulations.
- Documentation: Detail-oriented and accustomed to documenting your work as traceability is an important part of medical technology.
- Language: Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used in daily work.
- Computer Skills: Comfortable working in a computer environment and proficient in MS Office (focus on Excel).
- Driver's License: Class B driver's license.
Meritorious:
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology.
